By accessing or using Vatripa, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our service.
2. Description of Service
Vatripa is a vacation and road trip planning application that allows you to create day-by-day itineraries, track accommodations and activities, manage budgets, and visualize your trips on interactive maps.
3. User Accounts
To use Vatripa, you must:
- Be at least 16 years of age
- Register for an account with accurate information
- Keep your login credentials secure
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the service for any illegal purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
- Interfere with or disrupt the service
- Upload malicious code or content
- Impersonate another person or entity
- Use automated tools to scrape or access the service
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
5. User Content
You retain ownership of any content you create in Vatripa, including trip plans, notes, and uploaded images. By using our service, you grant us a limited license to store, display, and process your content solely for the purpose of providing the service to you.
6. Intellectual Property
The Vatripa service, including its design, features, and code, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of our service without permission.
7. Third-Party Services
Vatripa integrates with third-party services including Mapbox for maps and Firebase for data storage. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms of service.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
Vatripa is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. Travel information displayed in the app (maps, routes, etc.) is for planning purposes only and may not reflect real-world conditions.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of Vatripa. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service, if any.
10. Account Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time through your account settings. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or through the app. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
12. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the European Union and the country where you reside, including GDPR and other applicable data protection regulations.
